NADMO 'likely' to demolish several buildings at McCarthy Hill, Weija, Gbawe The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), says several buildings would have to be demolished at some parts of McCarthy Hill, Weija, Gbawe and its environs in the Greater Accra Region. This is because those buildings are situated on mud slides and earthquake prone areas and are likely to collapse. Making reference to Sierra Leone which was hit by a mud slide disaster which killed many people, National Coordinator of NADMO, Nana Agyeman Prempeh said Ghana will not sit aloof and allow the personal interest of some few to override the overall interest of the country. He said it is in the best interest of those whose houses will be affected since NADMO cannot restore their lives in case of any eventuality. GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
