NHIS restructuring operations to improve service delivery

The National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), is restructuring its operations to improve service delivery, reduce fraud and make the Scheme financially sustainable. 

Speaking at a forum on the "Status of the NHIS", Deputy Director for Marketing, Oswald Mensah indicated that the restructuring will make the scheme more robust and reliable which is key to achieving all developmental goals.
