Transfer of BNI Boss not linked to Anyidoho's arrest - Deputy Information Minister A Deputy Minister of Information, Ama Dokuaa Asiama Adjei, has denied allegations that the re-assigning of the BNI Boss has something to do with the issue of Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho. She says the move is also not a demotion as being speculated by a section of the public. Speaking on our news and current affairs programme, ‘Behind The News’ the Deputy Minister said the task at National Security is equally demanding. Madam Asiama-Adjei said the timing is a mere coincidence. The shake-up she added, is to enhance the country's security, because it is not the best to keep one person at the same position for too long. Meanwhile, Security Analyst, Adib Saani, says the timing of the reassignment should have been delayed a while to avoid the unnecessary links to the arrest and release of NDC's Deputy General–Secretary, Koku Anyidoho.
