National Energy Policy To Be Ready By End Of April

A national energy policy is being finalized to be presented to Cabinet by the end of April.  

The policy looks at the current energy situation, projects the future taking into account the country's medium term development goal as well as the Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs, of which energy is the key driver.  

The policy addresses relevant issues along the energy value chain such as investment drive, technology injection, regulatory framework and gender inequality in the male dominated energy sector.
