10,000 police officers to provide security during Easter festivities About 10,000 police personnel have been deployed to provide security all over the country during the Easter period. Out of this number, 130 officers from the National Headquarters have been deployed to Kwahu in the Eastern Region to beef up security there. Director General of Police Public Affairs Directorate, ACP David Eklu who made this known to Radio Ghana's Felix Cofie said officials from the Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate (MTTD) have also been deployed on Highways to ensure drivers obey road traffic regulations.
