Ghanaians protest to kick against Ghana-US defence cooperation 

Scores of Ghanaians are marching through some principal streets of Accra to protest the defence cooperation agreement between Ghana and the United States.

The Ghana Police Service has assured the public that it is fully prepared to supervise the demonstration.

As agreed, the demonstration will start from Obra Spot through the Kwame Nkrumah venue to Farisco Traffic Light to TUC to EOCO and end at Hearts Park.

“All individuals, groups, and supporters who have expressed interest to join the Ghana First Patriotic Front are entreated to stick to the approved route agreed by the two parties.

“No splinter demonstration or act intended to disrupt the peaceful conduct of the demonstration will be tolerated.
 
The public is assured of maximum security during the special event.
