Jasikan: Israeli Ambassador visit Bueman SHS to plant trees to improve vegetation The Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, Ami Mehl and his wife have visited the Buemam Senior High School students in the Jasikan District, of the Volta Region, to plant trees in the school to improve vegetation. The event also coincided with the Jasikan District Assembly agenda of Greening the District through tree planting. About one hundred and fifty species of trees were planted in the school. Mr. Mehl, his wife as well as the District Chief Executive for Jasikan, Lawrence Aziale and Dr. Ellias Asianna, Lecturer at the School of Performing Arts, University of Ghana joined in the exercise. Speaking to GBC's Radio Ghana, the Ambassador, said trees play a crucial role in health and the lives of people because of their medicinal properties.
