National Identification Authority gears up to commence issuing of ID Cards next month.

Government has presented sixty-two vehicles, sixty motor bikes and two generator sets to the National Identification Authority, NIA, as it gears up for the roll out of the National Identification Card next month. 

The logistics are to equip the authority for the pilot phase of the project for the security services, media and other key institutions. 

At a handing-over ceremony in Accra, Vice President Bawumia said Ghanaians must endeavor to have their digital addresses, because that is a requirement to obtain a national ID card.
