Ratification of US-Ghana military agreement is treasonable - Ernesto Yeboah

The Commander-in-Chief of the Economic Fighters League, a pressure group, Ernesto Yeboah, has described the ratification of the Military Cooperation agreement between the US and Ghana as a treason. 

He said its content downplays the sovereignty of the country.

Speaking on our news and current affairs programme, 'Behind the News,' Mr. Yeboah said the Economic Fighters League does not support the ratification of the agreement and will support all nationalist groups including the National Union of Ghana Students who intend to embark on demonstration.

He indicated that the group’s next line of action is to organize advocacy and educational sessions to enable Ghanaians understand the doom on the country’s sovereignty.

He noted that, the pressure group will call on teachers to go on strike to make the country ungovernable until sanity is restored.
