Gov’t and Labour partners to increase the incubation period of payment of tier-two Pensioners

The General Secretary of the Public Services Workers Union, Richard Ampaabeng, has been explaining the need for Government and Labour partners to increase the incubation period of payment of tier-two Pension Funds to Pensioners.

He told Radio Ghana's George Ankrah that if the 2020 disbursement deadline is followed or implemented there would be chaos because the investment of the contribution in bond has affected the projection of growth for fair and improved disbursement.

On the inability of some public service employers to pay retirees their entitlement, Mr. Ampaabeng said it is a worrying crisis which requires government intervention.
