Defence Minister should resign- Hassan Ayariga

The Founder and Leader of the All People's Congres, APC, Hassan Ayariga has called for the resignation of the Defence Minister, in the wake of a military agreement with the US that grants them unrestricted access to Ghana and its security apparatus.

Mr Ayariga said the Defence Minister has failed the country by laying before parliament for consideration and approval a deal that only seeks to benefit the US. 

At a news conference in Accra, Mr. Ayariga stated his position on the deal and called on Ghanaians to kick against it.
