Association of Poultry Farmers unhappy with State of country`s industry

The Chairman of the Ghana National Association of Poultry Farmers, Victor Oppong Agyei, is not happy with the state of the country's poultry industry. 

Speaking at the official opening of the 2018 Poultry Value Chain Fair which is underway in the Brong-Ahafo Regional capital Sunyani, Mr Agyei noted that after 61 years of Independence, it is a sad spectacle that Ghana continues to import poultry products to the detriment of the local Poultry Industry.

He said interventions over the years have not yielded much, and called for a change in line with the Poultry Industry's potential, to boost job creation and the economy.
