Practice good personal hygiene to prevent Lassa fever- FDA The Eastern Regional Manager of the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), Samuel Kwakye has advised the public on ways of averting Lassa fever through good hygienic practices such as frequent hand washing, personal hygiene and frequent fumigation of rodents and pests in homes. Mr. Kwakye noted that the ban on adverts of alcoholic beverages is still in force. He said some two media houses in the Eastern Region that have breached the ban will soon face sanctions and charges by the board. Mr. Kwakye urged the public to be vigilant about the products they consume, as Easter approaches and also help to apprehend culprits who breach the laws by selling unregistered goods.
