Counter terrorism expert calls for review of defence arrangements between Ghana & US 

Counter Terrorism Analyst, Emmanuel Kotin has called for the withdrawal and review of the MOU between Ghana and the US on defence cooperation. 

This follows the renewal of an existing agreement between the two countries which was laid before Parliament by the Minister of Defence, Dominic Nitiwul.

According to Mr. Kotin, it will be suicidal for Ghana to agree to such a deal because the country stands to lose from the agreement which gives the US military unrestricted access to a host of Ghanaian facilities.
