The Daily Graphic commends the National Communication Authourity (NCA) for its efforts to educate the public on their right to telecom services. The paper urges the Authourity to ensure that the Telcos strictly adhere to standards. It says there is no excuse for the NCA to allow the Telcos to exploit consumers because Ghanaians are fed up with reporting their frustrations to the NCA as customers do not get solutions to age-old problems. It therefore urges the NCA not to only educate consumers on their right but also apply sanctions to the Telecos for any infractions in their services. 
                          
The Ghanaian Times says it is time the people put in more efforts for the country’s industrialisation drive to yield positive results. The Times says the setting up of industries in rural areas has helped in opening up the least remote parts of the country but the negative and unconstructive criticism about these industries before they start work must stop. It says Ghanaians must know that these industries are set up with their taxes, so therefore they should utter positive and constructive criticism so that these industries would grow and support the economy.

The Daily Heritage calls on the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) to investigate the dough which got contaminated with pesticide that killed five people in the Volta Region. The paper thinks the issue is a serious one that could occur again if strict measures are not taken to address it. The paper advises Ghanaians to be careful when using pesticides on their farmlands.
