Former President Robert Mugabe says he is a victim of Coup d`e tat

Former Zimbabwean Leader, Robert Mugabe has granted his first TV interview since he was ousted from power in November, claiming he was removed through military force.

Speaking to South African broadcaster SABC, he also criticised the country's new leader, Emmerson Mnangagwa, for taking a negative stance against him.
 
He is quoted as saying; Mr. Mnangagwa could not have assumed power without the help of the military.

Mr. Mugabe accused Mr. Mnangagwa of turning against him, though he, Mugabe, nurtured the current leader and even rescued him from prison some time ago.
