Two 'grenade suspects' charged; One set free One of the three suspects who were busted for the possession of seven hand grenades has been discharged by an Accra District Court. The suspect discharged, Osman Hassan is an Agbogbloshie onion seller who was arrested in addition to two others, Abdul Karim and Ismaila Ali Musa at different locations in Accra, in January this year (2018). Appearing before Judge Ebenezer Kwaku Ansah, State Attorney Safakor Batse prayed the court to discharge Osman Hassan on the grounds of lack of evidence. The other two suspects have however been charged with the possession of explosives and fire arms. Lawyer for the other two, Felix Aboagye pleaded with the court to grant bail to his clients but the judge denied the request stating that, grenades are not found on streets. He however directed the counsel to file his appeal at a higher court. The case has been adjourned to the 12th of April when committal proceedings of the other two will start. GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
