African Leaders meet to promote use of more fuel efficient vehicles for a cleaner environment

Environment Ministers, Private Sector and Civil Society Organisations in Africa are meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, to strategise on how to promote cleaner more fuel-efficient vehicles, while developing a road map for clean mobility on the continent. 

The meeting which begins today and ends on Friday is being held at a time the world has begun a shift, to low and no emissions transport, to meet the Paris Agreement.
