Aggrieved Mine workers of Goldfields on demo in Tarkwa

Aggrieved workers of Goldfields Ghana have embarked on a demonstration in Tarkwa to register their displeasure at the day light atrocity meted out to them by their employer. 

This follows Goldfields decision to make the workers sign redundancy letters as part of its move to make them contract workers.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, The Deputy Secretary of the Ghana Mine Workers Union Abdul Moomin Gbana described the demonstration as a prelude to the solidarity nationwide strike by the Ghana Mine Workers Union.
