Akufo-Addo sends 3 new envoys to Japan, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia President Akufo-Addo, has sworn- in three new more Ambassadors, with a charge to safeguard and promote the image and interests of Ghana outside her shores. They are Frank Okyere, Ghana’s Ambassador to Japan; Eric Odoi-Anim, Ghana’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe; and Mrs Amma Adomaa Twum-Amoah, Ghana’s Ambassador to Ethiopia. President Akufo-Addo, reminded the envoys of their responsibility to preserve and promote the image of Ghana. He asked them to drive private sector investment in Ghana. This he noted is in line with governments policy to seek more private sector equity financing for infrastructure projects. President Akufo-Addo, admonished them to work closely with the Ministries and Agencies in Ghana and urged them to remember vividly the slogans of government’s flagship programmes, 1-District-1-Factory; 1-Village-1-Dam; Planting for Food and Jobs. The President advised the new envoys to develop cordial working relations with the Foreign Service officers they will find at their duty posts, and also with members of the Ghanaian community.
