GHANA MARKS 61ST INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

The president of Nigeria, General Mahamudu Buhari has commended President Akufo-Addo for restoring Ghana's economy unto to the path of macro-economic stability.

Ghana's economy in 2017 grew by 9.3 percent and the World Bank projects that in 2018 Ghana will emerge as the fastest growing economy in the world. President Buhari was the guest speaker at Ghana's 61st independence anniversary observed at the Black Star square in Accra.  Edward Nyarko reports.
