Ghana cannot afford to lose its accolade as a peaceful and security haven

President Akufo Addo says Ghana cannot afford to lose its accolade as a peaceful and security haven. 
Describing the upsurge in the spate of armed robbery in the country as unacceptable, the President noted that no miscreants will be given the space to terrorize Ghanaians. 

He reiterated government's commitment to resource the security services especially the Police to fight crime. The President however appealed to citizens to be the ears of the security services and report untoward behaviours for quick response.

 President Akufo Addo made these remarks at the 61st Independence Anniversary parade at the Black Stars Square in Accra.
