Political Scientist insists Ghana's Independence day celebration is still relevant

A Senior Political Science Lecturer at the Political Science Department, University of Ghana, Dr. Evans Aggrey Darko, says more needs to be done to whip up the history of Ghana's Independence. 

He said the Independence day celebration is still very relevant, however the only mismatch is that the country has not attained the kind of development that it should. Dr. Darko said despite this, it is not a hopeless situation.
