5th March, 2018 The Ghanaian Times says the upsurge in violent crimes resulting in loss of lives of innocent citizens and their properties in recent time has reignited the debate, on effective policing and crime combat in the country. According to the paper, all Ghanaians must share in the blame for paying lip service to security. The Times urges government to find the means to adequately resource the Police Service to guarantee the people`s security. The paper says though the reshuffle in the Police service cannot serve as a panacea to the current security situation, it is a welcome development that must spur them on to achieve results. The Daily Heritage says consumption of expired food immediately triggers food poisoning which can be very fatal. Inspite of the dangers, some traders deliberately display expired products and sell them to consumers for profit motives at the expense of human life. The paper notes that certain illnesses such as liver and kidney complications could be attributed to the consumption of expired foods or medicine. It says the fight against these evil doers should indeed be a collective one to ensure a safe society. GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
