Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has given the assurance that, the Government is taking measures to restore peace and stability in Ghana.

According to Vice President Dr. Bawumia, the Akufo-Addo led government will continue to provide the necessary resources to the Ghana Police Service, to deal with the recent spate of armed robberies in the country.
     
He said Ghana was known for peace and stability, and will work diligently to maintain it.
     
He asked for the co-operation of the public to ensure peace and stability, saying; “Insha Allah, we shall be successful”.
     
“We pray that Allah will continue to give us peace and stability for the country to move forward,” he stated.
