Sale of expired products becoming alarming The sale of expired products has become alarming in the country. Even more worrying is the mad rush for these products because they are sold at reduced prices. Despite the numerous education programmes on the dangers of using expired products, some consumers remain adamant and go ahead to patronize them. Yesterday (March 1), more than 12 thousand pieces of expired FanDango were reportedly destroyed by officials of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority at the Tema Port. GBC’s Radio Ghana went round the streets of Accra, to find out from the public whether they look out for the expiry dates on products before purchasing them.
