We are well equipped to curtail spread of lassa fever - GHS 

The Director of Public Health, Dr. Badu Sarkodie, says measures have been taken by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) to stop the spread of lassa fever in the country.  

Speaking to GBC’s Cynthia Boateng, on the recent recorded case at the Tema General Hospital, Dr. Sarkodie said there is no cause for worry, adding that people must take preventive measures by avoiding rats and reporting symptoms to a medical facility as early as possible.
