Reshuffle in Police hierarchy confirms security crisis - Minority

The Minority in Parliament says the recent reshuffle in the Police hierarchy is an admission that the country is in crisis with the nation's internal security.

The ranking member on the Committee for Defence and Interior, James Agalga at a news conference in Parliament House said the Minority is keenly following developments to see whether the changes will bring something good. 

Mr. Agalga, also called on the President to put together a bi-partisan group to as a matter of urgency, help the Ghana Police to review their operations and adopt new strategies and technologies to help in stemming the upsurge of criminal activities.
