Practise agro-ecological farming – CIKOD

The Centre for Indigenous Knowledge and Organisational Development, CIKOD, has asked farmers to practise agro-ecological farming to protect the soil and prevent depletion. 

This Centre notes is one of the best proven methods in managing the natural resource. 

At a stakeholder meeting in Accra, the Executive Director of CIKOD, Bernard Guri expressed the urgent need for all farmer groups to come together to encourage the practice as well as communicate their challenges to the authorities in one voice.
