“The FA Has Leadership Problems” - Randy Abbey 

Randy Abbey, president of Heart of Lions says the Accra Great Olympics legal issues with the Ghana Football Association proves that there are leadership problems. He made the statement on GTV Sports+ show Stage Africa.

The 2016/2017 League has been over for months and yet cases are not given the needed attention.

Abbey said “It’s the handling of the issues that has brought us to where we are now. Had we exhausted the legal process we won’t be where we are now”.

The Executive Committee member of GFA said the problem is not with the rules and regulations but “the problem has always been the application of the rules”.

Asked by the host Erasmus Kwaw if he was still close friends with FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi he responded “We are not paddies but we exchange pleasantries when we meet.

He added that after fourteen years in power the FA should change leadership because of the sharp decline in Ghana football.
