Unwholesome FanDango ice cream destroyed in Tema About 12,800 pieces of expired FanDango, a frozen ice cream product, were destroyed yesterday by officials of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority in Tema. The products, which were imported from neighbouring Nigeria in a forty-footer container by Fan Milk Ghana Limited, were found to have expired on December 28th last year. The Customs Chief Revenue Officer at the Refrigerated Yard of the Tema Port, Dorothy Arhin, said the contents of the cargo, which arrived in the country on January 7 this year were found to have expired after physical examinations were conducted on them.
