New GBC board chaired by Prof Emmanuel Adow Obeng Inaugurated The National Media Commission has inaugurated a ten-member board of Directors for the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, GBC. The newly appointed Board of GBC was inaugurated Wednesday at Broadcasting House in Accra. The Board is chaired by Professor Emmanuel Adow Obeng, Former Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast. Members are: 2. Henry Kanor - Member 3. Nii Kwate Owoo - Member 4. Michael Adumata Nyantakyi - Member 5. Mrs. Alexina Naa Ahima-Arthur - Member 6. Naval Capt. Kamal-Deen Ali - Member 7. Mrs. Roberta Gardiner - Member 8. John Armstrong - Member 9. Yaw Klinogo - Member 10.Dr. Sarah Dsane - Member 11.Dr. Kwame Akuffo Anoff-Ntow - Director – General. Inaugurating the board, Kwasi Gyan Apenteng, chairman of the NMC, congratulated the chairman and members of the new board for taking up this task. He noted that the future begins now with this excellent board that has just been inaugurated. In his acceptance speech, Professor Emmanuel Adow Obeng expressed gratitude to President Akufo-Addo and the National Media Commission for the honour bestowed on members of the board. “Listening to all the addresses, myself and members of the board have been very encouraged.
