Peasant Farmers demand compensation for destruction of farms by cattle

The destruction of food crops especially at Agogo in the Ashanti Region and other communities by Fulani herdsmen cannot be glossed over because of the impact on food production. 

Chief Executive Officer of the Land Resource Management Center, Mark Kakraba Ampem tells Radio Ghana's George Ankrah, some of the options Government and other stakeholders must consider to address the menace.

Mr Ampem also encouraged Government to have a second look at the farm lands are being taken over by real estate developers.
