The Paper focuses on the nomination of Martin Amidu, popularly referred to as 'citizen vigilante' as the first Special Prosecutor. The Times shares in the generality of Ghanaians that President Akufo-Addo made a good choice in the interest of the public. The Paper is of the view that Mr Amidu has conducted himself well both in his public and private endeavours. The Times highlights important roles he played in the transition from the PNDC to NDC as well as his contribution in the consultative Assembly that drafted the 1992 constitution, making him one of the finest legal brains in the country.
