African Ambassadors to convene in wake of Trump’s ‘shithole’ outburst

African ambassadors in Washington are convening a meeting next week to discuss a response to President Donald Trump’s Oval Office outburst, in which he made derogatory remark at Haiti, Central American, and African countries. 

The meeting according to the African Ambassadors is necessary to cement relations between the US and Africans in order not to undercut U.S. diplomacy in Africa.
