Ads on alcoholic beverages: FDA to get tough on Media Houses The Food and Drugs Authority, FDA, says any media organisation which flouts its regulations by advertising alcoholic beverages on its network before the stipulated time will face the full rigors of the law. The Director of Communications at the FDA, James Lartey, says the FDA upon review of its regulations has decided that alcoholic beverages can only be advertised after 8pm instead of the initial time of 10 pm.
