Woman sells baby to cater for Husband’s ailment

An Indian woman is reported to have sold her 15 day old baby for six hundred and sixty one dollars to a couple, to raise money for her ailing husband's treatment. 

Her husband, a labourer and breadwinner of the family suffered a trauma from an accident at a construction site in October last year. 

The family has since depended on loans for their daily expenses so when his wife delivered their third son on December 14, the couple decided to sell off the baby.
