GBC To Round Up Presidential Encounters Tomorrow Featuring Six Candidates The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, (GBC), National Commission on Civic Education, (NCCE) and STAR Ghana Presidential debate comes off tomorrow 30th November at the Banquet hall, State House, Accra at 7: pm. Mark the date as you look out for how the Presidential candidates handle questions on thematic areas critical to Ghana's development. The event will be carried live on all the six GBC television channels and 14 FM Regional station across the country. Attendance is strictly by invitation. However, the New Patriotic Party’s Presidential candidate, Nana Akufo Addo will not be part of the GBC/NCCE/Star Ghana debate. This is because the NPP did not take part in the GBC's one-on-one encounters as well as IEA's town hall meetings with Presidential candidates. This move by the NPP, has raised questions about the rationale to opt out of these engagements as many believe persons who wish to govern should submit themselves to be quizzed by the electorate. GBC
