Comments by spouses of presidential aspirants can impact electoral fortunes - Ben Ephson

Pollster Ben Ephson, has asked spouses of Presidential hopefuls to be mindful of their utterances and activities ahead of the December polls. 

According to Mr Ephson, the way spouses of presidential candidates carry themselves can make or unmake the candidates. 

They should therefore take part in activities that do not put them in an awkward position particularly in this political season. 

Mr Ephson was speaking on our news and current affairs programme, ‘Behind the News’ on how wives of presidential candidates can influence the choice of voters. 

A Policy Marketing Strategist, Dr Kobby Mensah said the wives of the presidential candidates play the role of toning down the heated political temperature. 

Dr. Mensah said sometimes these potential first ladies are placed in strategic positions to champion the course of women and children.
