Election 2016: We will deal ruthlessly with miscreants - CDS

The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces, Air Marshal Michael Samson-Oje, has cautioned groups and individuals who intend to cause trouble during the election. 

He said the Military is ready and prepared together with the police to deal ruthlessly with any such persons or groups.  

Speaking at a media interaction at Burma Camp, Air Marshal Samson-Oje noted that the security Agencies and the media are major stakeholders in safeguarding the sanctity of the democratic process.  

He said it is necessary to discuss the best way to protect the country during and after the election.
