CPP Targets Six Parliamentary Seats In Northern Region

The Convention People’s Party, (CPP) says it is targeting six seats in Northern Region.
 
According to the party apart from the Kumbungu Parliamentary seat, which is the only seat that the party has nationwide, it is working hard to win the Sagnarigu, Mion, Yunyoo, Tatale and Salaga South seats. 

Addressing a rally at Sagnarigu the CPP flagbearer, Lawyer, Ivor Kobina Greenstreet said, the party is a party of peace and its main ambition is just like the first President and founder of the CPP, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah's ambition which is to liberate the people from the current economic quagmire that the country finds itself because of the bad policies and programs being implemented by the Mahama led government. 

Mr. Greenstreet also reiterated the same point when he paid a courtesy call on the chief of Tamale Central Dakpema Dawuni Alhassan. 

Mr. Greenstreet also called on the Chief of Sagnarigu Naa Yakubu Abdulai Wumbenkpang to ask for his blessings.
