President John Dramani Mahama, has stated that the divisive and discriminatory nature of the opposition NPP transcends even to the election or appointment of their leadership. 

Addressing a rally at Lawra in the upper west region, the President stated bluntly that members of the NPP who hail from the three regions of the North will never be given the opportunity to occupy any key position like flagbearership in the party. 

He asked the electorates to study the dynamics of the NPP and let their conscience guide them going forward into the elections. 

President Mahama, addressed similar rallies at Nandom, Jirapa and Wa.
