Election 2016: Women's Situation Room launched to ensure peace

Ghanaian Eminent Women have met in Accra to discuss the role of women in the December 7 election. 

The forum was also used to launch Women's Situation Room, WSR, for building peace mechanism aimed at preventing conflicts before, during and after the election. 

The National Coordinator for the WSR, Adwoa Bame, said 120 focal persons have been trained and deployed to key flash points across the country to create awareness on peaceful polls in the country.
