New Code of Ethics for Ghanaian journalists described as significant The President of the Ghana Journalists Association, Roland Affail Monney has described the new code of ethics for Media practice in Ghana as the most significant landmark in improving Journalism in the country. Speaking on Behind the News, Mr. Monney said the code makes provision for ethical standards involving the use of the internet and social media. It also outlines punitive measures to be taken against offending Journalists which include expulsion. He said GJA will organize training programmes to educate media practitioners to appreciate the code. GBC
