Early detection key to combat diabetes

A Former Chief Dietician at the 37 Military Hospital, Dr Mrs Gladys Peprah Boateng says early detection and timely treatment of diabetic retinopathy can prevent vision loss and reduce the impact of diabetes on individuals, their career and society.
 
Dr Peprah Boateng said this at a symposium on World Diabetes Day. 

She said the symposium is to create awareness on diabetes which is on ascendency globally.
