Rooney to captain England in qualifier against  Scotland

Wayne Rooney is back to captain England in the world Cup qualifier against Scotland tomorrow.

The 31-year-old striker was dropped as captain of the side in the previous game where they drew goalless in Slovenia last month.

Wayne Rooney is England’s record scorer with 53 goals.

He scored twice in England’s 3-1 win over Scotland in November 2014.
