State of World Population 2016 launched in Accra

2016 World Population Report launched in Accra
It is estimated that more than three hundred thousand girls turned ten years of age in Ghana this year. 

An additional three thousand more of them would turn ten years next year.

This indicates that more and more girls would attain this decisive age annually in view of Ghana’s largely youthful population. 

These revelations were made during the launch of the 2016 State of the World Population Report in Accra.
