Accra psychiatric nurses resume work 

The Ministry of Health has commended the Accra Psychiatric Hospital Staff for calling off their strike in a spirit of good faith.  

Speaking to Radio Ghana on the new development, PRO of the Ministry, Tony Goodman said the nurses exhibited such good faith because the sector Minister has addressed most of their concerns.  

On the resumption of strike by the general nurses, Mr. Goodman expressed surprise about the Greater Accra Branch taking the hasty decision. 

He said most of their grievances are not in the domain of the Ministry, but the National Labour Commission. 

He appealed to the nurses to recall their Hippocratic oath and go back to save lives, while their grievances are being addressed.
