Peace Council asks EC to prioritise fairness in dealings with parties

Chairman of the National Peace Council, Most Rev Professor Emmanuel Asante has advised the Electoral Commission to prioritise fairness on dealing with the parties contesting this year's election. 

He said the current posture by the election body presents an awkward perception in the eyes of the public. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana on the sidelines of a book launch by the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping and Training Centre in Accra, Rev. Professor Asante  said the  EC must  not  be seen to be  perpetuating an agenda against  some  of the  contesting parties.
