The Daily Graphic is worried at the rate at which lands are being sold in the country. It says the dire residential accommodation situation especially in the cities has created a lucrative business in the sale of lands. The paper says with the looming food crisis as a result of bad practices, there seems to be no policy in place to halt the uncontrolled sale of lands. The Graphic calls for action from the authorities to ensure that land for agriculture production is maintained. To the paper, it is the only way farmers day can be relevant in all parts of the country. 
 
The Ghanaian Times considers November 7 ruling by the Supreme Court as a victory for Ghana. It says irrespective of how stakeholders view it, it is a welcome news as it will ease the tension in the system. The Times says the nation cannot afford a crisis stemming from litigations over who qualifies to run for elections, when the regulations are quite explicit. The paper believes the back and forth could have been avoided if the parties had filled the forms cautiously. It says it should serve as a wakeup call to all.
